Changes: A LOT. This recipe barely resembles the original.
1 lb Beyond Meat sausage, mashed up to resemble ground meat
1 tbsp #wasabi paste
1 green onion
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 fat garlic clove, peeled and minced
1/2 tsp salt
Pepper, to taste
1 tbsp sesame oil
Combine pork, ginger, green onions, wasabi, garlic, and 1/4 tsp salt in a medium bowl. Season with pepper. Roll the pork mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Set aside in the fridge to help firm the meatballs up.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until very hot but not smoking. Add the meatballs, pull the pan back and forth across the burner allowing the meatballs to roll around in the pan. Cook for 6 minutes.
Serve and enjoy! I added seaweed colcannon to it as a side.
