DC Tea Party (GF, V) --- Intentionally swampy!

Okay, one more drink. It is a drink that answers the question: what if the Boston Tea Party happened in the swamp?

2 oz bourbon (or dark rum for an earthier flavor)

2 oz Arizona green tea with ginseng and honey

¾ oz fresh lime juice

½ oz elderflower liqueur

2 dashes aromatic bitters

2–3 cucumber slices

4–5 mint leaves

¼ tsp matcha powder (for the swamp effect, quite pretty without!)

Crushed ice

Instructions

Muddle the cucumber and mint in a shaker.

Add the bourbon, green tea, lime juice, bitters, and optional matcha.

Fill with ice and shake well.

Strain into glass of choice.
