What Have I Been Doing Wrong Week 3

Let's just say it: these holiday weekends are what I'm doing wrong. Four days in Nashville even with hitting at least 5 miles a day in walking is murder on the body. As always, let's try to get back on track, though.


But of course, the Nats are now in the World Series and bar food and beer are inevitable. The good news is we have about a week before that starts, and I'm going to try to watch from home and make my own bar snacks. We actually didn't eat any snacks or drink any beer for Tuesday night's game. In any case, we'll see...


October 18


What I ate and drank today

2 cold brews

4 glasses of water

Bowl of vegetable soup

2 celery stalks with peanut butter

Couple tbsp of feta cheese

Forgot to keep track!


But it wasn't a great day. Large greek salad for lunch. Chips and spinach dip for a snack. Falafel and eggplant dip for dinner. Probably not enough water. Barely moved.

What I ate and drank today

7 glasses of water

1 iced decaf Americano

2 cups of coffee

1 bowl of oatmeal with blueberries

Vegan chickpea/apple salad over kale

1/2 cup Kung pao chickpeas

Celery with peanut butter

Sweet potato and apple latkes

Side of sauteed kale

Red wine

6 glasses of water

1 piece of provolone

Vegan chickpea/apple salad over kale

2 cups of coffee

Kung pao chickpeas over cauliflower rice

Whiskey during the Nats game
